Catacombs Media Annual Rummage 2023

Catacombs Media is running our annual rummage sale this September and we’ve invited friends! This year X-Ray Arcade is graciously hosting our rummage sale, and we’ve brought on three great vendors (and friends) to expand our offerings. There will be something for everyone: VHS, Betamax, movie posters, video store promo items, toys, art prints, and more! Last year’s rummage had a great turnout so if you want to ensure that you leave with something awesome, please arrive at 12PM as that’s when doors will open. AdamMatthewInk (Adam Roob) – Returning to our event this year, Adam’s a Milwaukee-based artist who has something for everyone. He’ll have a table at our event where he’ll be selling his art prints.

Bad Omen Toys & Video Vomit – A Milwaukee-based toy designer (and collector), John’s original creations will be on display and for sale during the event. His work is a must-have for any serious toy collector.

Bloody Knife Video (aka Suttercane_rules) – A major force in the VHS and Betamax space, Bloody Knife Video will be on-hand to sling tapes from his huge collection.

You can expect to see:

  • VHS – We are predominately a group of VHS enthusiasts, so expect to see a lot of tapes. Everything from horror to sci-fi to exploitation and more. We have rare titles and more common stuff. Plenty of things for the more seasoned collector to those just getting started. Follow us on Instagram to get an idea of what we’ll have for sale.
  • Betamax – Mixed in with our inventory is going to be a fair bit of Beta, but not nearly as much as VHS. We will try to bring as much as we got!
  • Posters – The founders of Catacombs Media also collect posters and we are going to be selling off some of our original one-sheets at the sale. These tend to go quickly, so make sure you are there at 12PM.
  • Other Memorabilia – I’m sure we’ll dig out other things to sell in the realm of movies, so we’ll post those to Instagram in the lead-up.

Plenty of street parking and cash/credit is accepted for Catacombs Media purchases. Please note that other vendors may accept different forms of payment, so please come prepared!
